Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
2012 will be an eventful year for KALTENBACH. We are celebrating our company’s 125th anniversary and our subsidiary in Holland – formerly Gietart – is celebrating its 90th anniversary. In this Newsletter, we are starting an Online-Series, in which we will tell you the story of the company KALTENBACH.
Apart from many regional activities around our headquarters in Lörrach, this year we will also present over 30 national and international fairs. Within 14 days, the METAV in Düsseldorf is already set to open its gates – you can find our exhibition stall in Hall 17.

Finally we are pleased to be able to present our new High Performance Band Saw KBS 761 to you in this Newsletter. On many customer requests, “The fastest band saw of the world” is now also available in a smaller model for profiles up to 750 mm.

As per the market requirements, KALTENBACH offers an extended product range in the area of High performance Band saw for steel profiles. The new KBS 761 enables highly efficient and economic production in operating ranges of 500 to 750 mm.

Four technological highlights ensure doubling of throughput:

• Ball roller spindle for optimal running and reproducible feed values

• Automatic, variable adjustment of the saw band inclination
  (AFC = Auto Feed Control) with changing profile cross section

• High power saw band drive with 12.9 kW

• Application of tungsten carbide saw bands
